Before becoming Director of Ministerial Formation, Jill was Dean of Students from 1999 to 2008 and had responsibility for formation, liturgy, and community life. She received a Bachelor's degree in Theology and Psychology from the University of Portland and the Master of Divinity degree from JSTB in 1985. After graduating with the MDiv, she spent 10 years with the Maryknoll Lay Missioners, including six years in Nicaragua and four years in leadership at the Maryknoll Center in New York. Previous experiences include work with youth on New York City's lower east side and work in campus ministry and a counseling center.
